Nice is very very NICE!

To catch you guys up on what has been going on...
We went to see the gargoyles on top of Notre Dame, went underneath the Eiffel Tower for my Hills moment :)

This weekend has been the cherry on top of the icing...
in other words, the shizzzz....
The trip began with a hour trip by plane Thursday afternoon. The hostel was very nice with comfy beds and soft linens and pillows.

The streets of Old Nice

our first set of roommates were Canadian from Montreal. They were very nice but we didn't get to know them long before they left. We decided to check out the hostel cafeteria/bar that night and they had Euro Beers! :D so we just stayed in after hanging out in Old Nice and got some ice cream. Friday we decided to go to the beach :)

The beach was very "rocky" but it wasn't too bad to lay on at all, the water looked gorgeous like sparkling diamonds! I kinda got taken by the wave and had some salt water + scratches but all in all it was a relaxing day under the sun! Friday night was a little....out of hand? haha Us Americans decided to start dancing on top of tables at this cool bar called Wayne's.

It was kind of a tourist-sy bar but we got to meet people from all over the world vacationing in Nice (canadians, australians, british, tasmanian, people from alaska (eskimo? haha) and many more! 3 British boys hung out with us for a while and nata, one of them you would've sold me to get had you been there! The drinks were pretty good and "cheap" compared to the usual price in paris + we caught happy hour, finally! We stayed at Wayne's for a while and then went bk to the hostel to meet our second set of roommates- Singaporeans!!!! They were very funny and sweet, their names were Gabriel, Nigel, and Mark.

Saturday we went to Monaco! Another country all by itself!

haha we went to monte-carlo to "gamble" and i only put in 1 euro and we lost it. haha. The grand casino was 10 euros just to get in and lots more to gamble so we went to the little one instead.

We saw lots of nice cars there but most of it was lost on me since i never was a sucker for cars no matter how pretty they are...

We left Monaco and met some people from Pittsburgh, Illinois, and Plano at the hostel bar! haha
They were nice people as well.
Sunday morning was no bueno.
I am now back at "home" and my roommate is still in Italy hehe
I have a test tomorrow to study for and I have yet to start studying for it.
I miss you guys a lot and i hope you're having fun doing whatever right now! :D
