Goodies from the Flea Market ( Saint-Ouen )

The day started at 11am. We went to the flea market and bought goodies! I love the markets here in Paris, the people are generally nice (i officially am holding a grudge against the Amish *ask me story later*). The stuff was pretty cheap (for euros and all) and overall, we had a blast! I tried on clothes in a sketchy van and i was thinking they probably have a camera in there. Right now, for all i know, some guys are sittting around watching me in my hot pink undies. lol.

Then we went to lunch at this awesome place that sold durum frites :)
met a guy called "mylov jean-luc" who thought Texas was racist and pointed out Rachel, our "white" friend to answer questions haha! he wanted to go live with her and clean her house in America, except he was black, 7 feet tall ish, and yeah... haha! his friend had a dallas mavericks hat (i know you like that jill) :) he also wanted us to fb him!

Then it was off to the sacred-coeur (sacred heart?) it's a beautiful cathedral on top of a hill that oversees all of Paris. breathtaking views. another prayer made to God. It was amazing to sit there and look at all the paintings and think about the fact that these people thousands of years ago believed full-heartedly in Jesus Christ and adored him and wanted to honor him.

Then it was off to Moulin Rouge and the sex-toy filled streets. needless to say it was amazing. we saw some asian guys trying to get into a peep show. great huh?

the night ended with a trip to the bars with the girls and some sangria and ice cream :)

over all, i give today a 10!
